The short version
- Go to playnsc.com/member and type your email. No password, ever.
- Tap the link in the email. You land on your member page.
- Your member card, your next game, your schedule and your teams are all there.
- Tap in, maybe or out for the next game so your captain knows the head count.
How do I sign in?
Go to playnsc.com/member, type the email address you signed up with, and we send you a sign in link. Tap it and you are in. There is no password to remember or reset.
The link works once and expires after 30 minutes, so use the newest email if you asked twice. Once you are in, your phone stays signed in for 30 days.
If nothing arrives, check spam for mail from playnsc.com, and make sure you are using the address you gave the club. If it is a different address now, see the question about changing your email below.
I have never signed up. How do I become a member?
Sign up at playnsc.com/join. It takes a minute: your name, email, phone, date of birth, and the field access waiver. Adults sign for themselves, parents and guardians sign for their kids on the same form.
You will get a verification email. Tap the link in it to finish. If your team admin sent you a team specific signup link, use that one and you land on their roster automatically.
What is my NSC ID and the QR code on my card?
Your NSC ID is your permanent membership number. It stays the same for as long as you are a member, even if you change your email address, and it is what ties your games, goals and teams together across every season.
The QR code on your member card is that ID in scannable form. Today it is mostly there so staff can pull you up quickly. It will do more over time, so keep it handy on your phone.
I am signed in but my team is not showing
That means you are an NSC member but you are not on a roster yet, which usually happens when you signed up with the general link instead of your team's link.
Fix it yourself: on your member page, open Missing a team?, start typing your team name, pick it, and send the request. Your team admin gets an email and can add you with one click. Once they approve, the team shows up on your page.
Being added never costs your team anything extra. The league fee is a flat amount per team, so one more player just means one more person to split it with.
How do I say whether I can make the next game?
Your next game sits near the top of your member page with three buttons: in, maybe and out. Tap one. Your team admin sees the running count, so answering early is the single most useful thing you can do for your captain.
Change your mind as often as you like, right up until the game starts. If you are a parent, you answer for your kids from your own page too.
Where do I find my schedule, scores and standings?
My schedule on your member page lists your upcoming games with the date, kickoff time and opponent. All times are Pacific.
For the full picture of your league, including live scores, the table and the golden boot race, go to playnsc.com and open your league. Those pages are public, so you can send them to anyone.
How much do I owe, and how do I pay?
League fees are charged to the team as one flat amount, not per player. Teams usually split it, and the standard individual share is $130, or $60 in the Monday Women's league while the intro rate lasts. Your team admin can set a different share for your team.
Your team admin has a pay link they can send you. It opens a checkout page showing what the team still owes, and you can pay your share, pay a custom amount, or cover the rest. Card only.
Two things worth knowing: the charge is capped at whatever the team still owes, so the last person to pay is never overcharged, and NSC covers the card processing fee. What you see is what you pay.
Your own payments show on your member page under your team. You never see other people's payment details, only the team total.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes. Everyone who steps on the pitch signs the NSC field access waiver once, and a parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18. It is part of signing up.
If yours is not on file you will see a red banner on your member page with a link to sign it. Take care of it before game night, because an unsigned waiver stops you playing.
My email or phone number changed
On your member page, open my details. A new phone number saves immediately.
An email change needs one extra step: we send a confirmation to the new address and the change only lands when you tap that link. Your old address stops working for signing in at that point, so use the new one from then on.
If the new address is already attached to another NSC account, we will not merge them automatically. Email support@playnsc.com and we will sort it out by hand.
My name, goals or history look wrong
It happens, usually when someone has played under a nickname or signed up twice over the years. Your member page has a correct my stats link that opens an email to support@playnsc.com with your details already filled in. Tell us what is off and we will fix the record rather than have you re-register.
On public pages you appear as your first name and last initial, and we never show positions or contact details. Full details stay behind the club's admin login.
I do not have a team. Can I still play?
Yes. Sign up as a free agent and we place you with a free agent side or a team that is short. Free agents pay individually rather than splitting a team fee, at the same individual rate for that league.
Season spots and what is running next are at neighborhoodsc.com/pages/play.
My kid plays. How does that work?
Kids do not get their own login. They ride along on the guardian's member page: you sign their waiver, see their schedule, and answer in, maybe or out for them from your own page.
One gap for now: you cannot ask to join a team on your child's behalf from the site yet. Email support@playnsc.com or talk to the team admin and we will add them.
Still stuck?
Email support@playnsc.com. For anything about your specific team, roster or fee split, your team admin is usually faster. Team admins have their own FAQ at playnsc.com/faq/team-admin.
